Into the stone desert on foot

Your day begins with a comfortable drive from Marrakech through the dry foothills south of the city. As the landscape shifts from green palms to pale, rolling terrain, the Agafay Desert opens ahead — a rocky, mineral expanse backed by the ridgeline of the High Atlas.
